MIND-BLOWING. You want to rock your world? Take a journey through your own mind. With David’s guided breathing and wise direction you will tour someplace unimaginable, that defies time and linear space. It sounds crazy and I can hardly believe that I am writing these words (as I live and work in a very materialistic, deeply judgmental, superficial reality) but what David taught me changed my existence. His insight and clarity opened my eyes to a different way of life. One that embraces humour, forgiveness and true peace of mind. He is a refuge of comfort and safety, which rarely exists, that allows someone to explore their deepest shadows, conquer their fears and confront past injuries. Yet, when in that true vulnerable state, I remained calm and at ease because I knew David would catch me if I needed him and help me if I cried (which I did). It is a wonderful experience that leaves you with eyes wide open and bull@%#& behind. There is no going back (and who would want to?!!) I am forever grateful to my dear friend who introduced me to David and started this adventure. Rock on.
Hi David I hope you had a good journey back to London. Thank you so much for creating the experience of the Yogabeats foundation course over the last four days. I'm forwarding the conversations we've been having, as I thought you should see the effect that Yogabeats, through your guidance, has had on us all. Hopefully our little group will continue to meet up to support each other on our personal journeys and in our efforts to spread Yogabeats ethos. As I mentioned, I will contact Claire Dunphy at Breeze Yoga Ltd in Beckenham, to tell her about my experiences and to recommend that she invites you to give a workshop at her yoga centre. Lying in bed this morning I was thinking of what I wanted to say to 'my sisters' from the course (particularly as I'd had to rush off without much time to say goodbye). I then proceeded to argue with my ego! It said I shouldn't email too soon, as I'd appear needy and clingy, but I decided to send a mail as soon as I got up. Then I found that several of the girls had already sent messages. My ego does talk a lot of rubbish. What does it matter even if I might appear needy to some, if what I say is heartfelt and authentic, so what! I hope your forthcoming courses/workshops go well and that you enjoy your travels and the people you encounter. Stay safe and well. I'm looking forward to the Devon Yoga Festival in August. See you then. love Helen xx
